May 20 - Historic community tour around Battery Park by a local real estate agent/historian.  Time and invitation to follow soon

May 21 - Neighborhood celebration at the Battery Park Clubhouse with a parade, live music, carnival games, food and more....  1:00—6:00pm. (new time) Invitation to follow soon!

April 2nd: Spring Fling & Egg Hunt 11:00am-1:00pm

Have a "ham-azing" time and "lox" of fun at Spring Fling Brunch with Egg Hunt, Bunny Hop Sack Races and Egg and Spoon Relay Races!

Enjoy your brunch favorites including coffee, juices, mimosas and Bloody Marys.  There will be indoor and outdoor dining tables available (weather permitting).

9/19/21: Jazz Concert

5:15-6:15

We are hosting a one hour, outdoor Backyard Jazz concert at the Battery Park Clubhouse (7908 Glenbrook Road) on Sunday, September 19th at 5:15pm. These one hour concerts began at the beginning of the pandemic to support our best local jazz musicians as all jazz venues around the DMV began to shut down.

The event will be postponed in the case of inclement weather. While we will attempt to socially distance, please bring a mask for good measure. Please come a bit early, as the band will start promptly upon arrival. BYOB, and we suggest you bring your own lawn chair or blanket. This event is FREE for residents of Battery Park, but tips of any amount to support the musicians are encouraged (Venmo and cash options will be available).

Halloween Parade and Pizza Party

Join us for the Annual Battery Park Halloween Parade and Pizza Party! This event is now pet-friendly! We encourage you to dress up your furry friends and meet at the corner of Maple Ridge Road and Park Lane at 5:00pm. We'll parade down Park Lane, turn right onto Battery Lane, then left onto Glenbrook Drive, to the clubhouse for pizza and treats! The clubhouse is at 7908 Glenbrook Road. Furry friends are not permitted inside the clubhouse and must remain outside.

Parade Rules:

  • All pets must be friendly, leashed and vaccinated.

  • Keep retractable leashes at six feet or shorter

  • Each pet must have his/her own adult walker.

  • Be prepared to pick up after your pet.

  • Costumes must be safe and comfortable for pets.

There will also be a guessing game: How many bones are in the jar? The person with the closest guess wins the jar of dog bone treats!
